There are no mammals in Nadir. People there think these animals are imaginary monsters. But there is a girl who is not afraid of them: Fearless Jane. 

• Besides enjoying reading, the pupils will learn about mammals and the importance of wildlife conservation.​
• Before reading, we will ask the pupils if they know any types of animals and their characteristics.
• During reading, we will ask them to look for information in the encyclopedia or on the Internet about types of animals and to write it down in a notebook.​

• After reading, we will suggest the students do the following activity (from 'Pinch of Salt work cards'):
  Have you got a mammal pet? Explain to your classmates what it is like, and how you look after it.
